Ballet
These classes offer a very good foundation in the basics of ballet, including proper placement and alignment, terminology, translations, from French to English as well as practicing both fine and gross motor skills such as jumping, leaping, and weight changes, as well as focus and balance. Depending on the level of the class, dancers may learn these elements through games or while working at the ballet barre.

Ballet and Tap Combination Classes
The ballet portion of the class enhances basic skills and coordination while learning fun exercises that teach both gross and fine motor skills. Fun music, storytelling and lots of creativity. the tap portion of the class teaches simple rhythms and weight changes while reinforcing counting

Broadway Dance
Broadway Class focuses on choreography and dance combinations. This class is not a technique based class. Its focus is instead on learning bits of actual Broadway shows as well as setting new choreography to old standards. This is a great, fun class for anyone who loves Broadway music and wants to dance.

Hip Hop
Great music, fun movement and a great workout. There isn’t a better 45 minute class
all week. No experience required. Just a good fun time. No dress code required. Sweatpants or
leggings, something comfortable to move and sweat in.

Introductory Tap/Tap I
Rhythm is the name of the game. This class is high energy and super fun. Its our happy class of the week. Both straight counts and syncopated rhythms are explored as dancers do a call and response to match the rhythms and learn short combinations that can be repeated weekly. Tap dancers are their own drummers! How much fun is that?

This is a great class for dancers grades 5-6 who have not had much dance experience. The class starts with a 15 minute basic introductory center barre warm up and then alternates bi-weekly between either a ballet center, or a modern or jazz combination. It is a good class to start exploring movement with three genres in one class.

For Pre-Pointe -Strengthening and barre work preparing the young dancer for pointe. Two ballet lessons per week required in order to qualify.
For Pointe 1 - Dancers must take two ballet classes to qualify and have had at east one year of pre-pointe.
